Mario Uses Boxing To Keep Fit

Mario Lopez constantly trains and boxing is one of his weapons of choice to keep himself fit. Often times he spars with semi-pro boxers. According to Mario, he has already boxed against Oscar De La Hoya, James Toney and Shane Mosley. The fit celeb wrote a book called Mario Lopez Knockout Fitness whose title shows his passion for boxing. In the workout book Mario admits that to be really fit we need to train hard. Not everybody is in top shape because not everybody is willing to do the work.A kettlebell swing workout will also help you stay in shape.

Mario Lopez Workout Plan

Mario constantly switches around how he trains. This is because right now he is maintaining the state of his muscles. So his main goal is to stay lean and not gain excess weight in the form of fat. But if we want a Mario Lopez physique, we need a plan that focuses on the Hollywood physique: wide shoulders and a small waist. You must also realize that he has two advantages. He has a genetic advantage: a v-shape body with small hips and in this way he is left to concentrate on training his chest and shoulders. He also has relatively short upper arms (he is 175 lbs and 510) so it is easy for him to build impressive looking arms.

What is the Diet that Mario Follows?

Mario wrote a recipe book: his guide to healthy eating “Extra Lean.” This is his first cookbook. The actor acknowledges the importance of diet when trying to achieve or maintain top shape. Attempting to lose body fat just through exercise alone, even if you workout as much as he does, is an uphill battle. In his book Lopez authored more than 40 recipes and shares meal schedules with 1200-1300 calories with mainly vegetables and lean meats. The approach is solid; we tend to heavily misjudge how little we can eat if we are to lose body fat. Lopez admits that he likes to eat.So in order to stay really lean we need to consume a very little food. Or, like Mario Lopez, we could eat smart and live a very active lifestyle. Beach Life

No matter if he consciously knows it, the fact that Mario leads an active life under the sun light is good for him. Its a feedback loop as he walks and jogs shirtless all the time: this must force him to stay in shape. Or vice versa – he trains hard and likes to walk around shirtless to show off the hard work. The guy enjoys sprinting outdoors which boosts the metabolisms and keeps you lean. Working out at the beach like Mario sure is fun. Well it wouldn’t hurt to be accompanied by a hot girl like the one Lopez is dating. Finally the suns own vitamin D stimulation is a great overall health booster. It is a mistake to avoid the sun altogether.

The Fitness Lifestyle

In his own words, Mario is addicted to exercising. He stays in killer shape – and hes been like that for decades ever since his stint on “Saved by the Bell.” Staying active has enabled him to preserve a youthful appearance. Many of us lose our good looks by gaining fat as early as the 20s – it doesn’t have to be that way.Mario mixes up things so he doesn’t get bored by the workouts. In addition to lifting weights and boxing three times per week, Mario would bike, run, swim, do yoga and also play basketball. This activity level adds up to a high level of caloric expenditure.
